English Sterling Silver Wine Coaster - Unknown Maker, est. late 19th Century

• Modest overall wear commensurate with age. Overall excellent.
• Sterling [LION] clearly visible.
• Etched with Hand/Arm holding a scimitar
• Wooden base with felt for the bottom.
• 4 7/8" diameter. 1 3/8" tall.
• Total weight: 5.787 toz

Interesting piece. The hallmarks for location and date are obscured due to the way the silver is folded around the wooden inside coaster. I did my best to try to discern a date but I'm just not comfortable trying to be exact with this piece.

Very Good estate condition.
