Typically our rolls run strongly AU with the odd handful of VFs. This week, there are a LOAD of true Uncirculated coins.
Each roll contains approximately 2.9579 net pure ounces of silver. At $23.55 spot that comes to about $69.66. We've finally eclipsed melt but premiums on 40% have continued to strengthen and there are more Uncirculated coins in this batch than usual.
The 40% silver Kennedy half dollar was struck from 1965 to 1970. These coins are rarely seen in truly circulated condition and tend to average around a grade of AU+. The 1970-D Kennedy was only available in the U.S. Mint set and commands a significantly higher premium (it will not be present in these rolls).
