1935 Connecticut Silver Commemorative Half Dollar - Brilliant Uncirculated

This coin was struck in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Connecticut colony.  The obverse is dominated by an eagle, while the reverse and primary motif is that of the famous Charter Oak, which according to legend was the hiding place of the Royal Charter during the reign of James II.
