The 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence was cause for an international fair in 1926.  To help raise funds for that fair the 1926 Sesqui Half was struck.  The obverse features the first living president to appear on a U.S. coin bearing the likenesses of both George Washington and Calvin Coolidge.  The reverse is dominated by the Liberty Bell.
