1811 Classic Head Large Cent ~ Extremely Fine

With a tiny mintage of just 218,025, the 1811 is overall, one of the tougher large-cent dates to acquire in any grade. This specimen displays a rich deep brown color with hints of a bluish-green sheen.

This coin is not in perfect condition for its grade (if it were it would command about 3x our asking price) - that said the issues are relatively minor and easy to miss in-hand. There is a planchet flaw under Liberty's chin as well as an old thin scratch line on the obverse. There are also visible planchet flaws on the reverse, these are "as struck" at the mint.

This is a rare opportunity to pick up a true XF with modest issues at 1/3 the price of a comparable "holdered" coin.
