This German heller displays the "Hand of God" on the obverse and a cross on the reverse. Struck in the medieval town of Schwaebisch Hall, these Hellers became some of the most well-circulated coins of Europe during their time. During the 14th and 15th Centuries Hall saw a significant growth owing mostly to acquisition from noble families and the Cromburg monastery.
As with hellers of the age, each piece is approximately 19-20mm and weigh just under a gram.
