Coming from the same collection as the 1799 Bust Dollar, this coin hasn't seen the light of day in the past 30 years. It has wonderfully original surfaces and sharp detail. The so-called "Capped Die" variety is, of course, not a capped die at all. Rather, it is a sloppy large-CC over small-CC. Moreover, in reality, it is significantly more common than the non-"Capped Die" variety.

I've basically taken wholesale bid and subtracted what would amount to my submission fees and shipping (more expensive than the grading) off the price.
