The Madonna and Child Silver Denier Coin 1540 - 1600 A.D. w/ Plastic Display Case

A 400 year-old relic, the famous Madonna and Child Silver Denier was minted in the Austria-Hungarian Empire from 1540 through 1600. This treasure is one of the first coins ever minted to carry a date. Each of these hand struck silver coins is a unique and genuine heirloom. The obverse features the beloved image of the Virgin Mary and the Baby Jesus - an image that made this one of Europe's most revered coins of the 16th Century.

Note: Case has a small crack in the center of the display.
