Model 1937 MVSN Fascist Italy World War II Officer's Dagger

Something of a scarcity, these daggers are highly sought after for obvious reasons. With the aluminum handle in the shape of an eagle, the bakelite grip scales and bonze fasces it makes for a compelling showpiece. Also included is the black lacquered scabbard. The single and false edged blade is in excellent condition. Total length without scabbard is 12.25".

As purchased with a lot of other "field finds", curiously including German, Italian, and Japanese artifacts. The soldier that brought these back was a U.S. Marine. While its not impossible that the Marine was in both theaters of the war, it is more plausible that some of these finds were accumulated in trade by the Marine either during or shortly after the war.
