Here's a couple very neat and substantial silver medals from the American Institute in New York. Both medals were awarded to M.B. Van Tuyl, the first in 1835 for Embossed Work and the second in 1837 for Painting and Gilding.

Both medals have been cleaned at some point and the 1835 medal was holed at some point.
