Swidnica, Silesian Poland Boar's Head Silver Heller Mid 15th Century (1450-1500) - VF to XF


This neat coin originated in the Polish town of Swidnica from around the time it was incorporated into Bohemia by King Wenceslaus. In 1471 the town was recorded to have nearly 300 homes with the rights to brew beer. That beer was subsequently distributed throughout Europe.
