Rare 1861 $100 CSA Bond - Criswell 2a/Ball 13 - Crisp Very Fine

Only 500 issues of this bond were issued after the capital was moved from Montgomery to Richmond. The original Montgomery is crossed out in pen and replaced with Richmond. A very tough bond in exceptional shape there are four fine pinholes visible when held to light. The paper is crisp and strong and the contrast is terrific and the ink is well retained.
